This service consists of early involvement in the scheme to enable the production of a realistic and achievable Commissioning Plan. Where possible we liaise with water authority personnel, carry out desk top and on site surveys to enable us to collate all necessary information such as local network flows and pressures, peak demand times on the network, optimum pressure test sections and disposal of test water locations. We provide all of the information required for chlorinating the pipelines if applicable – this includes volume and chemical calculations; based on our own high flow dosing equipment which saves valuable time on site.

Implementing an achievable Commissioning Plan can save a great deal of time and money. Our clients have found this service invaluable because it puts a clear emphasis on the methodology involved in commissioning the installed pipework, rather than solely focusing on “pipe in the ground”. Many clients have commented that our service has prevented the “panic and firefighting” that can be encountered once a pipeline has been installed.

Our plans are easily incorporated into the site program so that site teams are aware of the commissioning requirements.
