Cross country scheme completed for Morgan Sindall. Pipeline located in Severn Trent Water Area. Pressure tested sectionally to 30 bar after each section was swabbed using swab tracking. End to end swabbing using multiple swabs and swab tracking, potable water dechlorinated prior to discharge during swabbing run. Full volume of main chlorinated to a minimum of 20 ppm then dechlorinated prior to discharge. Over 250 bacteriological samples taken over a three day period, all passed.
Distribution main renewal
Multiple technicians have been employed on Veolia Water mains renewal programme for three years and counting. Mains renewed are swabbed, pressure tested, chlorinated, dechlorinated and sampled. Each technician undertakes multiple schemes each day.
